I am setting up my rear pinion on my 73 for a CV driveline. I need to set both the pinion and driveline angle to the same degree.

My question, is it safe enough to use the rear pinion fins to set the pinion angle?

I installed the CV driveshaft and adjusted it from there. I didn't know how much the CV joint would effect the angle.

I would do it off the flange, but I need the DL attached so I can set them. Pinion 1* down from the DL. Thanks for the suggestions guys. Have it from a good source (orangefj45) that the fins work well enough. I'll trust his jedi cruiser skills.
