Good news! I’d probably go ahead and install the new fuel pump anyways. 16 years on the original is good enough at this point.
Right! That is kinda what I was thinking seeing as you have replaced a lot of other parts too, seeing as you already spent the money on it. Hell going through my service records the other night to see when the serpentine belt was last done, I found that my fuel pump was replaced around 80k, serpentine was replaced just under 100k, however the one that is on there now looks pretty new. Can see the part number pretty clearly, so thinking it was replaced again and I have some service paperwork missing.

Another Update : It's been starting up & driving fine past week, but we've decided to install new fuel pump for good measure.

Will keep you guys posted if there's any recurrence of the same issue. Fingers crossed!

Hi Guys, 4 years ago I bought a bargain Cruiser V8 2004 that just had a heap of head work. after getting it home for a week or 2 and the Cam sensor died got it back from the Mechanic then a few days later after a quick stop at the shops I started the truck and it stalled, I got it started but the idle was as rough, as your video above Suzie. Please Help (PM sent Suzie).
Sound like a common thing? Did you get it solved?
Cheers
