Will need 20A (maybe even 30) at some point for an accessory circuit. Is there any fuse or relay (or mount for one) around somewhere that is not used in the typical configuration, and could be tapped readily into without having to rig something up from scratch?
thx

Nope

Zippo?

Not even a leftover from oversea options, like seat heaters or something (I thought these wires were still in the harnesses)?

anybody knows if there is a suitable fuse block at Radio Shack?

Correct, IIRC Gumby has done that. It is not exactly what Eric is looking for but an option. If a high-load piece of equipment is hooked into that curcuit I would not move the seats while it is in operation.

West Marine has what you want. I have used their stuff on both the Cruiser, boat and my trailer. They have a marine quality HD fused connection that accepts a large 2 legged fuse. I have one mounted inside the lid of the battery box of my trolling motor - neat and easy.
