I have mounted my fuse block and routed most of my wires. I am testing the headlights, turn signals front and rear and side lights. I am getting power to all the lights, but I am unable to to get the signals to flash. I compared my wires from the turn signal switch with my service manual. The colors are not the same so I took the switch off the column and tried to identify which wire corresponded to each turnsignal section, wire to brake switch, etc. This has been a common problem in wiring the switches. It is hard to figure which wire is which. Any pointers, pictures, or diagrams would be appreciated.
I have the pdf diagram as well as the hayes manual, but I was looking for more info on the switch wiring.
Secondly do I still need o run the wires as the diagram has it as far as connecting the side light to the turn signal and then to headlights?
