Hello,
The wife and I would like to have a hitch installed on our 62. We had planned on going to U-haul as I have no other idea where to go. Any reason to avoid them or is there a better option? We are in College Station, Texas. Thanks.

I bought my hitch from U-haul. It's a Drawtite, just doesn't have the sticker. U-haul uses it's own sticker which you shouldn't remove as it identifies their installation and your right to their nationwide warranty. Uhaul's are everywhere and it's nice having that extra insurance.

During installation I had them drill an extra hole on each side for a total of 4 mounting points per side. One hole through the LC frame which is a given, the other through the hitch which lines up to the tow hook mount. Optional, but I like the extra strength.

.

too bad you're not closer to Oregon, I'd sell you the one I took off our rig when installing the Kaymar...... shipping to TX would be spendy :(
