Edit, Never mind I think the answer is no.

Soo, would original factory spec u-bolts work in the flip kit? Cuz I'm assuming the ol man emu bolts are factory spec.
My searching didn't address this.

Any input appreciated!

Hi All:

When I built the u-bolt "flip" kit for my FJ40 I used square-end u-bolts like those used on the 60 Series.

Regards,

Alan

What flip kit are you using? I recently used the Man-a-fre /4plus kit on the front (still have to do the rear) and it used longer rounded style u-bolts

The flip kit has square u-bolts and I don't know the vintage. I'm thinking orig would be round u-bolts.

could i see some photo's of these please sound like a great idea.

Ooops, must have been half a sleep when I wrote this. The Man-a-fre kit I used is the same as in the link above. U-bolts are still square but longer then stock.
