just wondering what all the swb and lv's stand for? and whe i was here, https://forum.ih8mud.com/showthread.php?t=39065&highlight=pigs+crushed i saw a light blue landcruiser, the was the length of a 40 but it was a pickup? it looked like this

That is a plain ol fj40 with a modded hard top.

There is fj45 swb=short wheel base
fj45lwb=long wheel base
Both of the above being pickup trucks, early ones had non-removable hard tops, laters had pop tops.
fj45lv=station wagon variant
There are later model fj45 troop carriers, kinda like a really long fj40 with a really long removable hard top...

Prolly more I'm not remembering...

Yep it is a good old bj40 with a 45 top cab on it.

uhhh... i was always informed that the second number in the numbering system was wheelbase related

i.e. 40 and 42 are shorties,

43 is a mid wheel base

45 and 47 long wheel base

70 is short wheel base

73 is a middy,

75 78, 79= long wheel base

there might be fj40 pickups, but it wouldn't be a 45

The FJ40 wheelbase was 90 inches, the FJ43 95.7 inches. FJ45 V and FJ45 P were 104.3 inches, and the FJ45 PB was 116.1 inches, an outlier.
