Tx Safety Inspection no speedo

    The speedo quit on my 40 and the inspection expires this month. Anyone know if it will pass or am I getting ready to spend $$$ Thanks

    Thanks, the license plate does say truck so it looks like I'll be able to skate on this one.

    i'd print out the page from the internet and take it with you just in case they give you crap about it. that's how i got by w/out marker lights on my 4runner after i built the bumper and coverted the corner marker lights to blinkers for a quick fix.

    I've had mine inspected w/o a speedo in Austin the last 5 years or so, guess I should get around to replacing that gear that's in a box in my garage somewhere. Anyway, never had a problem -

    It passed today. They did not say a word about it
