Serious wrenching.

Yeti - seat belt wash

Bluebird - oil change

Neighbors love this. Most have no idea how to even open a hood.

Rusty pig wrenching. This body mount wasn't doing much mounting! It was mostly crispy bacon bits.

When I pulled the DS front fender, I found a bit of rot in the door frame. Order of operation is: Cut, weld, POR-15. Cut, weld, POR-15. Repeat ad infinitum. Oh yeah...grinding. A whole lotta grinding!

Happy New Year!

Adam picked up the last of the 80 bodies today. If you need 80 parts he is the guy to talk to. Great brown cloth interior in this one.

Is that the special Edition narrow wheelbase model?

It will be

And we’re in! The engine is completely mounted. Both driveshafts fit well. And have so far installed the starter, fuel pump, carb, and air cleaner. And we fabricated 75% of our radiator mount.

Was so looking forward to a weekend of wrenching but had i known the struggle ahead i may have just not.

Installed a new SBC starter.......5 times.

Took starter bolts and 060 shim to get it quiet. Have never fussed so long over such a seemingly simple task.

Wrong front shackle bushings delivered for the 45 but got the shackle side rear spring bushings done and the frame side of fronts.

Had to throw in new turn lenses just for a small victory in the day lol

80 got a new battery tie down and a rust discovery and slow bandaid

Interesting note. Energy susp poly bushings survived 10+ yrs and look to be in good shape vs 4 yr old rubber but they did take their toll on the shackle pins.

Looking good JC. Really dig the new gauges. That's oil pressure on the right in the cluster?

Yessir. Comes with senders, everything but fuel level. Fuel level gauge has a procedure to calibrate it to whatever tank/sender you've got.

Ron Davis radiators are cool! ;)
Function with a little form thrown in for good measure, beautiful piece of equipment.

Sorta wrenching sorta wills bored project for this but I want to run air to the front of my truck and the back from my little compressor without having to pop the hood to hook a line up to it.

First attempt I have these fittings for some nylon line I’ll run those to some disconnects that I’ll thread into a bracket of some sort

Getting closer on moonshine. Should be buttoned up tomorrow am. Did all the engine sensors this evening.
