I bought my Prius with under 60k miles. i traded it in with 226,000 miles and never changed any brake pads. I'm still not a prius guy but that was a great car. I don't think I'll be able to go that long without changing brakes in the Rav4 but I hope the rest is as dependable as the prius was.

I did some light wrenching tonight. ShortBus install on Cotton.

The Prius is one of the most impressive appliances ever made. I love mine. I drive the **** out of it. And even in PWR mode I get 30-35mpg.

Boulder, CO to Kingston, NY this past weekend (1900 miles): $120 in fuel.

Yeah, I agree with both - I love the Prius, too - I just wish the seats (for me) were more comfortable - after 1 hour the seats start to bother me....

I forgot to ask about this, what did you do with the OEM? Sarah's need a couple of trim pieces.

I gotta' keep that OE bumper intact. It's too nice to part out and I'd prefer to just hang on to it. Sorry, Fred.

Yeah, the price was too good to pass up - price was the same with plain old rotors - I thought about painting the calipers red to give it a little more boost, too... ;)

Haha, nice man. I would have gone for the better rotors too (because go fast).

I can get 31 out of my LS430 :p

But that is mostly due to it having the drag coefficient of Clark Griswold on a saucer in snow ;)

If they would put a dang stick in a Prius I would actually get one, economy cars need a manual to make it any kind of fun. But Prius's are pretty cool from a tecno stand point. "appliances" LMFAO

for all of its unreliability the tdi jetta with a manual is a pretty nice economy if it was RWD I wouldn't bitch about it as much.

Toyota makes good appliances. No two ways about it. Even the LC is a mobility appliance in Toyota's eyes.

When will they get into beer??? I've got a pretty good triple locked IPA recipe to sell them.

Actually isn't there a Asahi brewery in toyota city or fairly close to it in Aichi???

did you see it when you were there @beno

I bought a 78 axle for the 55 when I thought I needed disc brakes. Got it torn apart and one of the faces on the hub looks like it was damaged and won’t allow it to turn. I’m thinking of filling down each surface but looking for suggestions. All these parts, minus hubs, are for sale if anyone needs anything

Dremel bad spot and run those hubs! There are none better...even beat up ones.

Tap the center out the back side then clean up the interference spot.
