Two “What is This Part” Questions (1 Viewer)

1997 LX 450

The first is a bracket I found lying underneath the truck after I had powerwashed the entire undercarriage. 13-15mm is stamped into the side. Is it part of the truck or some POs tool?



The second is an antenna of some sort that was stuffed down under the jack holder in the rear DS compartment. It has one wire that goes up into the rear pillar. This LX had a car phone from the dealer. Is this some part of the car phone antenna?

The first does not look like an OE part. The second is similar to some GPS antennas I have seen for low jack, hence the reason for it being hidden?

Maybe it could have been a Lo Jack antenna. I have yet to be able to find a matching image on the web so it is still a mystery. The electrical splicing was done with black duct tape so I hope it wasn't a shop install.

The clip was definitely tucked up under the truck somewhere and I agree, it doesn't look Toyota. As long as it wasn't holding something important, I don't really care
