He just got this 2023 Corolla GR. 300 hp, all wheel drive hot hatch. Made in Japan by the Gazoo Racing division. Pretty rare right now.

Yeah it’s definitely a fun car. Makes my GTI feel ordinary. It looks better in person than in pictures.

I bet the Corrola is a smidge faster than the 40 off the line.

Reminds me of the chance encounter I had with a similar colored FJ Cruiser, although guessing that was only a 40 year gap, give or take. Toyota family reunion!

He was working with a “no mark up” dealer near where he lives in Portland OR. He got a call in the morning saying they just got one in. He was the first one there with money ready to go. But yeah, some dealers are being pretty greedy!
