Turn Signal Switch

Need help. Hazards work, dimmer switch works but the turn signals do not work. Received my replacement switch, plugged it in and still no blinkers. Checked fuse and it is ok. There is a small green wire, looks like a ground wire, and I do not have a place to plug it in. What should I do?

what year is your cruiser some have 2 flasherunits .others 1 big one .
