Had some ongoing issues with turn signals and tailights. Finally bit the bullet and re-wired a new set-up in the problem side.

Now, my turn signal seems to slow down and occassionally come to a complete stop.

Thought I had this solved.

Is this something different or am I back to chasing a bad ground somewhere ?

Could be a bad ground. Run a temporary ground from the lamp housing to the frame and see if it goes away. It could also be any other bad connection, so if it isn't a ground, shine up the connections.

On my 64 for when my voltage regulator was not working properly my indicators would slow down or remain constant and not blink.

After it was fixed things were fine.

Might not be our problem however, just throwing it out there.

:D

Last year my VR went on the fritz and my blinkers were very slow and dim on the instrument panel. Fixing the VR fixed the blinkers.

Check all grounds and inside light housings for wires and rust. Mike

X2 on the grounds. Had same problem and it fixed it after hitting it up with a wire wheel on a dremel

yeah all 4 are wired on the same circuit, you could have another bad connection on any or all 3 of the rest. just got through them and clean up where needed, dont forget the sockets, pull out the bulbs and check for corrosion.
