Is it true that there will be a diesel option in the tundra? If so, when and are there any specs yet?

Was getting Ball Joint TSB done on my 06 Tundra DC couple days ago and salesman said 4 to 5 years out on diesel's?? Maybe the ppg will go down a little before release?? only 2.98 a gal here in ABQ NM
