I was just wonderig the same thing.

It's not looking good for the Tuffy in and '81 unless you either remove ther heater or get the old style and mount it behind the tuffy...

Subzali: no, it doesn't...

From the product page: "#470-11 may require modification or relocation of rear heater." (That's the one for 78-84 models)

I just bought a new/used Tuffy Box on eBay. I may try to retrofit my oem heater.

But before I cut on it I plan on really studying the situation.

ON ANOTHER NOTE....

Is a BJ42 longer or wider than a FJ40 ?
