Digging up this old thread after doing some research. I bought a notcher from a Dutch company that looks like a copy of the JD2 Notchmaster, and want to upgrade it with a bunch of goodies from SWAG.
My shaft is only 3/4" and runs in cheap bushings with way too much play, so I want to upgrade to needle roller bearings and probably go with eh 1" SWAG shaft at the same time.
Does anybody know which needle rollers would work well in this application, which ones are in the Notchmaster? I am not having much luck finding 1" ID bearings here in metric Euroland, so I might have to order them from a US site anyway.
