Tube Bumper for the 80

Generally speaking looks good. Side profile pic perhaps, looks like it sticks out sorta far. Maybe just the cam angle?

Ive seen that before, I think it looks like a robot mouth. Not my style but the craftsmanship/symmetry looks solid.

Looks nice, extends out alittle far in front for my tastes

I would also make it so it extends out around the front of the fender instead of stopping it like that under the parking light, their is no side protection if you came at something on an angle

I will bet a million that you will hit and smash the parking light and the front of the fender

Mine even with it curved around the front of the fender, my fenders have still taken a few hits nothing big, but better than nothing there

A tube bumper on an 80 looks like a g-string on a fat chick. Some guys might like that look, but not me.

I run single stick out around the fender there and while it is not alot of protection it has done its job by at least protecting the parking lamp, but I have still sustained a couple of smallish dents which would have been really big without the tube there

But I am all about the minimalist approach

It is still a pretty nice looking bumper you have there, nice craftsmanship for sure

Nice build - looks like you want the trails WELL lit for the ride.... that's a lot of candle power up there! Actually interested in the spots you have in place of oem twin floods. Cool mod. Don't think I've seen that on an 80 before personally (have seen it on the new FJcruiser but that's a completely different topic)

I would like something that follows the lines of the 80 better and protects the entire corner - but that's just me

agreed, the rest of PortFJ60's bumper looks beefy

You can definitely tell you're from Portland with that comment.

I like the bumper, but wrap-around protection is a must to protect the front corners.
