Tube Bending Cost (1 Viewer)

I'd really like to get a bender one of these days but until then I was wondering if you guys have gotten any work done recently. About how much do they charge per bend, it probably depends on material and everything but can you give me an idea. I have about 6 90* bends I need done. Whatcha think? I was thinking that any fab shop ought to be able to do it. No hardcore shops round here. That and maybe the welding supply store. Where else?

In Australia they sell cheapo ones for $175AUS 16T which will bend up to 3" tube.

Try www.harborfreight.com . Check out the hydraulic tubing bender. If you plan on bending thin-walled tubing, fill it up with sand, weld a plates on the ends and bend the tube. Works great!

I checked the ones at harbor freight as well but if I'm gonna buy one I'll at least buy a real one. Like this...

a shop down here will do it for 10 bucks a bend, i know a guy who has one of those you want he'd do it for some beers. get your a$$ back to ut man...
