I found it when I started looking at the clamps. Made sense to me. You can also remove them with a soldering iron and not damage the hose

Drill press cuts like buddah but it bites hard  Drill press has too much power to drill anything just holding it on the work table, need to clamp everything down.

Glad you're okay! That machine demands a lot of respect. One reason I considered doing a foot switch.

Repost in the "does this steering wheel make my nose look fat"
"does this drill press make my hand look bloody??
Be careful with power. Battle scars.. Show them with pride or hide them like I do for being dumb ;).

Found a good use for the plastic cases power tools come in. This is a Dewalt case so I had to spray the red but Milwaukee would get you halfway there.

Marathon is not a word I like to associate with cutting wood without power tools. My triceps are killing me just thinking about it. Perhaps "sprint" or "speedy" would be more appropriate. 26.2 miles worth of sawdust? Count me out.

So very true...

FHB hooked me with an article about how much faster hand saws can be for small jobs. Ran out and bought one similar to John's. I cut ONE board, and crooked.

Wow so much wit in the tool thread - - puts the ONSC Chat thread to shame!

I didn't think that this was anything special, but enough people commented on it at the HAMOM yesterday that I figured I'd post up.

5g Transfer pump. Fits over a standard 5 gallon container of gear oil. Much easier than using the 1-qt containers or the CRAPPY pumps for the 1g containers. NAPA hosed me for $75 a few years ago on this, but it looks to be about $30-$50 at various places now.

FYI, anybody in the CLT area is welcome to use mine if needed. Gear oil only, please (I'd hate to have to try cleaning it out).

Not a major purchase here but since I had to give away or sell most of my non essential or large tools I had to get some things to work on the Jetta over the weekend. Motive power bleeder, a good brake tool to help push back in the rear pistons on the brakes, new 3 ton jack, new jack stand,. 3 jawed puller.

I've got a very similar pump at my house. I had a HF version of that tool in the past and had nothing but problems. This one I bought at Napa I believe.

My only complaint is measuring volume. It'd be ideal to pump directly into the engine for oil or whatever, but I can never keep count of how many pumps I've done already and at the same time convert to quarts. Always have to keep a quart and a gallon bottle nearby to fill with the pump, then measure from.

After I stopped working in the Harley Davidson, fix them as the break, circuit, I sold my double stack expensive tool holder and now use drawers once used to hold drawings from a company called Kewaunee in Statesville.
My basement is my workshop. I have one draw dedicated for special tools.
Trying to keep this thread more tooling. LOL
