Truck won't start... (1 Viewer)

Tried to fire up the truck today and it won't start. I tried start engine spray, pouring gas into the carp and won't even try to fire.

I double checked the firing order (running HEI) and all is well. Running a V8.

Checked the fuel line and no fuel is running from the fuel pump (tank only has two gallons).

I"m at a loss at this point, everything else is working fine, it just wont start.

Suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Does it have spark? Have you messed with anything since the last time it ran? I had the same problem with mine until I realized that my groundstrap had been removed by one of my buddies, wish he had told me before I rebuilt my HEI, oh well. Good Luck.

Are you running an electric or mechanical fuel pump?

What about spark?

IF you have spark and you get fuel to the carb, try loosening the distributor and slowly move the vacum cannister towards the passanger side of the engien bay.
