trouble shooting cruise control

Where do I start that is one system I am clueless on.. Any pics or suggestions would be great.

mine doesn't work either

I posted a while back and did a search and found a wireing diagram, and a post on how to fix it,so the info is on here. I don't remember where. I just got used to not having it,

The FSM has complete diagnostics for the cruise control system, similar to the CEL diagnostics for engine problems. (The cruise light flashes rather than the CEL.)

It's really cool: You sit in the driver's seat, follow a simple sequence of moves to put the system in diagnostics mode, and then proceed to check each individual component one at a time. Fun, easy, and pretty much fool proof.

cool can you share that piece of info.. My FSM is 100 miles away from me.
