Well here's the story. 1988 FJ62 would get a CEL on the highway ran the codes and got a 25 (lean) and 26 (rich). O2 sensors were nasty looking so I replaced those. It helped with the performance definatly but now I have a CEL on all the time showing 21 (O2 sensor). I used OEM Bosch sensors. Does it take a while for the sensors to kick in? I remember reading this somewere. Also I tried disconnecting the neg terminal to clear it with neg results. I am going to check the wiring tomorrow for heat damage. Any ideas?
