Today I had an exhaust shop reroute my 1HZ exhaust from outside the frame rail to inside. I will be adding a bunch of heat shield to protect... everything, but now I'll be able to do weld on sliders without jumping through hoops ("hoops", get it? Like people build to get around the exhaust usually)

And as a bonus the truck is quieter now as well... I guess tucking the pipe underneath and getting rid of at least one 90 degree bend helps.

Mark,
How many joints did they include to allow future maintenance/repair access? Also, did they put them where you would expect (want) them?

Looking good

I don't know, I can't say. I know there's at least one joint up closer to the manifold/ header and another at the muffler. There may be one more part way. For future maintenance if it needs to get cut it needs to get cut.
