Trollhole's Parts Swap aka Pig Party July 15th-16th

img_3026-jpg.1272407

Parts swap the 16th from 9 till whenever I get tired and go home. I'll try not to die this year I promise.

Will be smoking a pig Friday night if anyone wants to come the day before that is when the party will be. Pretty sure there will be at least one keg. But BYOB just in case. Will be throwing all kinds of stuff on the grill that is bad for you Friday night. Food is free. Will be serving BBQ for lunch Sat.

Land Cruiser parts of all kinds. Bring what you have and take even more home with you. Kids are welcome Saturday. Friday night will be an adult only party. Have little room for tents but if you want to set it up on the pavement have at it. Roof top tents and RVs are welcome. Bathrooms at shop. Plenty of local hotels in town.

Trollhole's shop is located at
511 Palmetto Dr
Simpsonville, SC 29681

I plan to head up there Sat. morning if anyone want to ride. I'm looking for some small parts for the Chick'n.

I may take you up on that ride - @Trollhole mentioned the HJ45 will be ready that weekend. My attendance is very much doubtful, though, because we have to be in Florida on Sunday... Not entirely sure the truck will make the drive back to Charleston either - needs brakes, motor mounts, and a few other things that Marshall isn't planning to do.

I know someone with an F350 and a trailer that could help get that -45 home... Just let him know.

I can take the van and trailer, also. not a problem as long as I get a certain 40 off of it first. @scott johnson
with or without you, @CharlestonG8R ,it sounds like itt needs to come here, anyway.

You guys are awesome! I will keep in touch with Marshall and let y'all know. We will get that thing back here and running! Gotta get it prepped for the Chik'n Run.

Sounds like a mini-HAMOM in the parking lot of Marshall's, put the word out and we'll be there. If David needs someone to get Scott's 40 off the trailer, again, put the word out, there's some Mt P folks happy to help get a trailer hooked up.

Looks like I will be rolling up there in the F350. No desire to roast in the -40 in the middle of summer. Trying to decide if I should go up Friday afternoon or EARLY Saturday morning. How long / late do y'all plan to stay on Saturday?

Does anyone need to 'tow' anything back? Had the heads replaced and top end rebuilt on Truck Norris, so I should'nt have any more issues towing for another 100k miles.

Marshall said he'd be finished with the 45, and all indications demonstrate that he's on track (pictures, texts, phone calls, etc.). Unfortunately, Rae and I will be in Florida... If you don't mind towing it back, I'd owe you HUGE! But that's a pretty big liability and burden to put on you.

If we're going to be there anyway.... confirm with Marahall by Thursday that it is ready and I'll be glad to tow it back. I can drop it off at the house or hold it on the trailer at my office & deliver it when you get back.

That's awesome! I'm sure @Trollhole would want to reclaim the space at his shop. Thanks, Erik. Will confirm with Marshall next week.

Looking like I am going :steer: to be 1/2 way there on Friday - Aiken is about 1/2 way, right :bang: - so I may continue up to Greenville and  then just spend the night. Looks like I will be driving :steer: back Saturday afternoon.

I was going to ride with you, @ErikinSC if you were going and coming back Saturday. I'll just take the Caddy up on Sat. morn.
