Has anyone installed a Trollhole carb on their 40 and had trouble getting the solenoid (I think that's what this is) to hook in to your wiring? If so, is there an adapter I need? Thanks!

Its only one wire if i remember correctly. You just use your one hot wire from the 2 wires that went to the original. It " should " ground itself by way of it being mounted. But i have had a few with solenoid issues that i had to put different ones on to make it work. if it does not ground itself then just run a separate ground wire from the carb to the body / engine .

Thanks Darin-great info! I actually found some threads on it after some digging and coolerman is sending me an adapter to plug right in.
