Few assumptions first...
- Running boards have been "loosed"
- No sliders
- Installed front flaps

^ that has to narrow the field ^

I trimmed the stock rear flaps but worry about taking too much off the front and getting crap thrown from the tires on the body... Short of pulling a string from the bottom of the tire up to the body... I hate to experiment with flaps at $75 a pop. Anyone trimmed their front flaps have any feedback? Yeah... long shot I know ;)
 
trim it as much or little as you want - can't be any worse than having no flaps, like most of us are when they take off the running boards. even at full-length, they're not going to block everything that gets tossed up by the front tires, like when you're turning...
