Well, I decided to trim the front fenders and remove the inner fender liners. Also trimmed the firewall a little, and hit the fenders, molding and rockets with Raptor Liner:

Yeaaahhhhh!!! I am 100% down with this and plan to do the same to squeeze some meaty bois on the junk torsion bar IFS without a "lift"...after the wifey pops out the young'n currently cooking. Great to see somebody else other than @nukegoat ain't afraid to do some chopping 🙌

Next tires, will be 37’s 👍🏼
And yes, red is better than the gold nose it had before 👎🏼

Would have trimmed the rear fenders, but it doesn’t need it. I made that jump when I had an 80, but went up to 38’s. I did remove the rear bumper cover and will put the spare on the roof. Simple rear bumper incorporating the rear cross member is coming. Maybe I should start a build thread 😄

I’m really digging these Mastercraft Courser MXT’s. Running the 315/75R16’s on the stock 16x8’s. Seriously considering them in the 37x12.50R17. Would run a 17x8.5 KMC KM717 with 5.46” of backspacing, with no spacers. The 36x12.50R16 TSL radial is another possibility. I really like how narrow the TSL radial is in that size. Just a bit pricey, and no siping. These MXT’s are great on wet pavement, and decently quiet on the road 👍🏼
