Sugar is getting a 5 speed transplant. Out with the NV4500 in with the Tremec 4050
Axis Industries adapter. No provision for a T-case shifter so made up a mount using the plate and pin provided with the NV4500 adapter. If I was doing this swap from scratch I'd just order the twin stick mount and pin from AA when ordering the twin sticks.

No glitches in the installation. Bolts right up to the same bell housing and uses same clutch and pressure plate set up as the NV4500. I used a kit from AA with all the pieces needed to do the NV4500 swap, so order this with the twin sticks and the pin and mount. It was almost too easy, still waiting for the other shoe to drop :) Drive shafts will need to be made to the correct length .

The shifter that came with the trans is more of a car style and it hits the dash in N
No off the shelf shifters like what the customer was looking for so I made the NV4500 shifter work.

I think that this is a great alternative to finding a used NV4500, rebuilding it and hoping it does not make a lot of noise in 5th gear. It drives well and does not make noise in 5th gear. Of course now I am listening for every sound :)

Tremec 4050 and Axis Industries adapter. 6.0L Vortec motor. This motor starts to growl around 3200 RPM. I love this particular truck, my favorite so far, it should be a bit quieter now :)

I just saw this on your Instagram was wondering what the hell was up with shifter at the transmission because it doesn't look like a nv4500 where the shifter attaches to the transmission. Because its not a nv4500 haha
