I am intalling a TRD SC on my FZJ80. Problem is my clutch slave cylinder is in the way of the induction pipe (I live down under so Right hand drive).

I'm hoing a forum goer would have an easy fix already sorted????

If so, pictures or info would be great and save me starting from scratch to solve this issue.

Thanks in advance.

Seems likely you'll need some custom piping/ducting to give you more clearance near the firewall. I doubt there are many folk that have installed the TRD s/c on RHD 80.

Maybe you can find some flex hose/pipe of the appropriate diameter to re-route between the airfilter and the s/c intake.

cheers,
george.

Thx George.
Here is my dilemma...
I can perhaps make an induction pipe using an aluminum donut.
I can't go under it as it will interfere with ac and heater hoses.
Although it sounds weird, I reckon I can go over oit!
I am open to all feedback, including laughs!.

That definitely looks like a challenge. Factor in that the engine is on rubber mounts and you need to leave some room for it to move around a bit when it torques and also if it moves a little forward/aft.

Maybe a local turbo shop may have some ideas for you or something off the shelf that may help get the air intake plumbing to feed into the 'side'.

Or drop an auto into your 80 :)

cheers,
george.

although I lover the idea of an auto, this was only going to prolong the return of my old 4by to active duty, so here was my solution...
