Ya a lot of people there are very into the higher end setups. Couldn't swing it for this one 😂 and the freedoms do fair for the price - not as good as the others obviously.

I have the 2860 and with the BFF bumper & it does well.
@josephc you have a build thread? I'd like to see your rig.

Installed the 2860 springs yesterday and 60020L shocks (from Josh at 1stgenoffroad.com). It looks great and rides awesome. Very pleased with height and ride. One thing to note, I did install a 1/2" spacer on the front in expectation of the bumper. It currently sits almost level. Also added a homemade bracket to keep the brake line from becoming a banjo string. I'll update on function. Here's pics of the bracket.

A slight bend aligned it nicely. If anyone has ideas for improving it let me know. The p/s was shorter by about an inch.

"Flex shot" with wheel back on and cruiser spring on p/s.

And then sitting outside the house. The front is on an incline.

I don't actually. I started building this by reading posts from FB, and then discovered IH8MUD, Overland Bound and Expedition Portal. I'm a bit deep in, but still lots to do! I did a lot of "mods" really quick, and didn't do the best job as it's my first time working on a car - now I'm paying for it haha.

I'll post a picture of it this weekend.

got any more pics on that midwest rust free square body?
Yes, it's my second oldest son's. It's a 74 long bed. It's not completely rust free. It's a 350 with turbo 350. We have a 4 barrel and manifold with a new cam in the garage. He wanted to drag race (my dad used to, and we watch a lot of "Road Kill" and motor trend shows) but he recently picked up a 79 Camaro. He's 16 and wants all the cars. Pics were when we first got it, it sets more evenly in front now, back is uneven however. Suburban in background is my neighbors hunting wagon.

I built a bumper. I'm not a great welder, I burned up my grinder because of that. I'm also not completely done, but it was rusting so I put some paint on it. I'll probably fill, sand and coat it again in the spring. I will add some more mounting points too. I'll fill the "teeth" above the bumper somehow, maybe a rigid light, maybe some metal and rigid lights...I've built 4 bumpers now but this is my favorite. 1st skid plate though.
As a big side note: I won't be pulling with the winch till I add some extra tie in points. Again, this bumper is not complete, I'm also not bragging about my welding or fab work. I'm no pro. Just offering ideas for those interested. By all means, take my idea and do it better. -Jay
