Transmission Question (1 Viewer)

So I have been searching for hours and no clear answer.

My transmission is shifting kind of rough and It has a

P1760 code,
“Linear Solenoid for Line Pressure Control Circuit Malfunction”

Now I understand its possibly the solenoid(s) in the transmission that failed. What I need to know is how tp fix them. I called lexus and their answer was to just replace the tranny. Which is obviously an expensive fix. Anyone have any experience? I see that you can purchase the solenoids but is it that difficult to install?

Rare to have a transmission problem reported on the board.

I ended up getting a new pressure solenoid ($85) from toyota and had a transmission shop drop the pan and swap out the solenoid. Swapped the oil and filter also at the same time! Fixed the problem and has been running smooth ever since! Lexus wanted to swap the whole transmission for $3k and I was able to fix the problem and swap out the oil for around $300.
