I have an auto transmission that was mated to a 2UZ that I believe came from a 2004 LX470. It is labeled with the part number 35010-60A10... this does not come up when I research Toyota/Lexus part numbers... can anyone shed any light on this...?

That's the supplier factory number. It will never come across in a search. You actually need to look at the Aisin data plate that is riveted on for better info regarding replacement or information regarding after-factory parts support.

If it came out of a US spec vehicle it should have a vehicle VIN plate rivited to it. Run that VIN and see what it says.

There is a number that is live 35000-60A10. That is for an HDJ100.

That transfer knob looks awful plain to have come out of an LX470.

What's the part number on the harness tag next to the trans tag? It looks like 82125-60383. If so that comes up for a 04-05 100 in the US book.

Yes, it SHOULD be from a 2004 LX470... what model is that...? an A750F?

I screwed the knob on there just to keep the shaft from poking through a tarp - the knob is from a 40...

Onur has this covered, and it's VERY good info to have. I was recently looking at buying some transmissions… the supplier number actually cross referenced to a Toyota transmission from a lower powered V6 model, but they were for V8 engined vehicles. Talk about weird! Never say never in that case. So to reiterate the info, the part number on the sticker is NOT the Toyota part number.

I'm trying to source an A750 from an HDJ100/101 (diesel) to put into my HDJ81. I found a transmission with this paper sticker/tag that matches the P/N (35000-60A10) but you're saying here that it's not actually the P/N. So, WHERE IS THE PERMANENT DATA TAG ON THESE TRANSMISSIONS then to verify? I can't see one in any photos of the newer transmissions? This is a BRAND NEW transmission so no donor vehicle to go off of.

Just as an update to this thread on a vehicle being worked on:

It’s a 2005 and the VIN tag calls for transmission part number of: 35000-60A00

Out of the truck the barcode tag on the transmission itself does say: 35010-60A10

Original to the LX470.
