Hey guys,

My FSM is at my office and I am looking for the torque number for the transmission oil pan bolts which I will be putting back on shortly.

Anyone...anyone?

442 trans pan bolts are 61 inch-lbs.

Thanks Dan.

:censor: All I have is a ft lbs torque wrench that goes down to 10 ft lbs.

Is it a bad idea to just hand tighten for now?

61 inch-lbs is about 5 ft-lbs.

Okay, my torque wrench only went down to 10 ft lbs so I just snugged the bolts down free hand.
Not too tight but snug.
Do you think I am okay or do you think I thrashed something?

I really had no choice....
