Transmission Hump Gasket (1 Viewer)

What should I use to replace the gasket on my transmission hump? I need to be careful in the rust belt to not use anything that's going to hold water!

I have used a neoprene-type material with success. Can usually be procured from a decent fabric store without much hassle. This material that I am talking about is similar to what would make up a wet suit, and is about 1/4" thick.


3M makes some fantastic weather-strip adhesive.
