Hi guys i own a 1993 80 series landcruiser and ive got codes 83,84 and 85 which are the transmission control module ive spent all day trying to find the box to see if i have a faulty one but have had no lucky find it i havea a repair manual which is telling me its near the Transmission Fluid Temperature Sensor but can not find that just wondering if anyone knows where it would be.
Thanks

G'day Lochie

I've just spent all morning finding mine as well!

Mine is a '94 1fz and I found the ECT ECU inside on the drivers side, tucked up above the steering column.

It's visible from the foot-well but a bit of a pain to access for diagnostics

Yeah sorry mate looks like your model used a different transmission management system. These relate to your issue. Good luck
