transmision oil line

Hi, Just purchased a oil transfer line kit for the transfer case to transmision but it did not come with directions. It looks like I just replace the fill/inspection plug with the supplied fitting. Two questions, do I fill both cases to the normal level first and second is this where the fittings connect.
