Yep - went to change tranny and transfer fluids the other day - to my surprise gear oil came pouring out of the tranny...culprit - blown seal.
So - I engineered my own temporary fix....
Total cost - $27.00
Not quite as basic as the hose clamp and pipe barb method - but not as elaborate of having a custom hydro line swaged up either.
Isn't that Aeroquip blue hose sexy? Those socketless ends are the cat's ass.
Currently at buddie's machine shop getting the fill plugs drilled and tapped...
