Transfer Noise

    So what do you hear when you switch to 4wd? I get about a 1 sec grinding noise, not too pretty but not sure what's normal.

    Your hubs locked? FJ60 or FJ62? You moving when you shift?

    Yeah moving when I switch but not locking the hubs till after. No noise comming out of 4wd

    try locking your hubs in first, then shifting into 4WD.....it's how they are intended to work and I bet you'll find your noise goes away too ;)
