I have a issue Shift the 4 wheel drive to 4 Low

I does not appear to line up. Is this in need of professional work or just some advice. See photos

the piece you are showing is the 2wd to 4wd shift, there is nothing to worry about. the linkage "floats" in the rod groove. the rod just goes in and out

If the gap concerns you, you can disassemble everything and bend the diagonal part of the arm in slightly so that the puck bottoms out. I’ve seen a couple of people machine thicker pucks to take up the slack.

FJ60s use a nylon puck to help cut down on noise. You might want to consider just gluing the top of a plastic bottle cap to your puck and see how that goes.

Definitely NOT something you need to take to a mechanic.

Oh, and when you take it apart, put a boot on the front drive shift rod. ;)

Have you tried putting it in reverse and let it rock back and forth?
