I have read this:

And this:
forum.ih8mud.com
And I know where to get these:
absolute-wits-end.com
I'm trying to re-install the Transfer Case Shifter and when the bolts snug down, the entire shifter assembly is very loose and wobbly. Almost like the bolts are too long and bottomed out, but based on the above it's clear that the replacement bushings exist to resolve my issue.
My question is this: What is it about the replacement bushings that resolves this? Are they shorter and/or is the ID smaller?

Need parts. Help
I'm hoping someone has a line on these. 36324-60080.the 4 transfer case shifter bushings. Can't find these anywhere. If anyone has 4 please let me know. Even if someone has 1 that'll help to get some 3d printed.

And this:
Transfer Case Shifter Collar Bushings - HOW TO INSTALL
If you're reading this, it may be because you're just curious or you've fallen into the mantra of: If Aboslute-Wits-End is producing a shiny bit, then I must need it...right? For those in the second grouping, you may have realized, no matter how many key words thrown in search bars, there isn't...

And I know where to get these:

80 Series Transfer Case Shifter Collar Bushing- SOLD INDIVIDUALLY
80 Series Transfer Case Shifter Collar Bushing (SCB-1)
