Transfer Case Output Shaft Help (1 Viewer)

So I’m in the process of replacing the output bearing in the transfer case housing and in the process I took apart the oil rings on accident does anyone know how important they are doesnt look like they do anything I just broke one trying to JB weld it back into place and I’m not sure what to do.

Was it hard to get that shaft out? I think I have a slight leak at the rear output shaft on my transfer case

No it wasn’t at all I just put a 22mm deep on that top spline and wacked it a bit.
