Im running 35's, soa, sbc 327 to a 3sp and 3spd case. I am going to a TH350 and dont know if I should use a 3spd case as I have two and they are always popping up, or if I should do a split case or Gm case with a centered rear? I dont have deep pockets but I am pretty hard on it espeacially in the sand. I would rather spend a little more now and not do it twice with two different adapters. I dont plan on going bigger than 35's and am locked front and rear. Any help from people who have already been down this road would be much appreaciated thanks

I wouldn't spend the ca$h buying the TH350 to LC 3 spd. case adaptor. I'd go w/ a Dana 300 (plenty of aftermarket support - lower gearing, front/ rear upgraded spline kits, clocking rings, etc.) & an LC centered rear from Proffitts: Our Parts & Accessories | Proffitt's Cruisers Land Cruiser Restoration
If you start upgrading the D300, you'll be in the neighborhood, ca$hwise, of an Orion + adaptor :meh:

I didnt consider a 300, but it would be a good lighter weight t case, Im not sure how hard they are to come by seems they only made them for a few years?

I meant light like a 3spd case not like using a 205 which seems to big to me. My boss is a Jeep guy and has a th350 to 300 adapter brand new that is clockable for $300 which seems like a good deal but I havnt found a tcase. I would like to know if it is going to be worth the extra expense to go to the Dana case versus the Toyota or if a 3spd case will hold up to 35's anyone?
