Transfer case differences?

Hi all,

I'm converting an all original 88 FJ62 (3FE, auto tranny) to a 3B Diesel and 5 Speed grearbox.
The 3B comes out of a 85 BJ60.
The push-button 4x4 system seems to be the same on both trucks. Are the transfer cases the same on both trucks or are they different?

should be OK as long as the diesel H55F output is the same as a gas H55F/A44F/H41 etc.... output. Diesel input is different
