Tranny/Trans. Case Whining STOPPED! (1 Viewer)

The FJ40 setting for 2 1/2 years took a toll,I'm sure. There was rust in the tranny fluid.The root cause of the problem appears to have been the low transfer case fluid. I ran it for a few miles today and the whining stopped so I guess I finally got some much needed gear lube through the systems again.

Dang gear oil will fix just about anything these days!!
Glad to hear you got it solved. There weren't any metal shavings in that old oil you drained were there???
