Tranny to Transfer case fluid migration

83 FJ60 with 4 speed transmission.

Originally I had migration from the TC to the Tranny so I installed a bypass tube. Today I check the fluid in the TC and it has an extra 2 quarts of gear oil. Check the transmission and it was low 2 quarts. Did a lot of searching and couldn't find a whole lot on this type of migration. Transmission and TC are both working great and no odd noises.

Time for a seal replacement? Looking to get pointed in the right direction here. Thanks.

If fluid migration is happening the seal is bad no matter what.

I have a bypass tube installed to keep the correct fluid levels until I get it fixed.
