I have the FSM but it doesn't label the lines that feed and return the tranny fluid from the cooler in the radiator. This forum helped me determine that the passenger side outlet (#2 in the pic) would feed the inlet on my external cooler.

Problem is, when I looked underneath, the hoses seem "twisted" and now I am not sure if the hoses were accidentally placed on the wrong hard lines back to the tranny. I labeled the hoses 1 and 2 in my pic and was hoping that those of you who know the correct flow path could give me some insight. Does the #2 line I have labeled go to the top hard line or bottom? I need to put this cooler on for Surf N Turf!

I'm too lazy to go look or I would...
On my FJ62, there is a hose with a metal 90 degree elbow connector and another connector on the other hose that is about 140 degrees ( you get the point...not a right angle but not straight either)
The 90 degree elbow'd hose goes on the driver's side and the 140 ish one goes on the passenger side. Hope this helps
