Completed my front and rear diff breather extension this afternoon. Super easy thanks to all the great info posted on the forums.

Anyway..I was feeling brave and I decided to do the transmissiona and transfer case while I was at it. I followed the two hoses down fron the transmission dipstick tube one went to the transfer case, very clear what to do.

However, the other breather hose was not connected to the tranny as I had hoped. It was just hanging down. The hose clamp was still on it and the small white plastic tube was protruding from the hose. I poked around for about 20 minutes trying to see where it was supposed to conect to the transmission with no luck.

Anyone got a photo or diagram of where the breather connector is located on the transmission?

Update:

By getting a light and a mirror I was able to find the spot the breather hose plugs into the tranny housing. Unfortunately it is very difficult to get to and it appears to be broken. Snapped off platic tube. Why not brass like the others???

The replacement part # is 90930-03098 - Breather connector.

Any tips on how the heck to swap the old with the new considering the tough location. Short of pulling the Tranny?

Hey, did you ever resolve this? Does it plug in with a friction fit is there a more positive connection?
