Trannies for 1HD-T/FT (1 Viewer)

Looking for some options with the 1HD-T/FT other than the factory unit. I had heard some people were using the old gasser A442 with new torque converter and valve body.

Not even sure this would bolt up, wish I could find a old auto out of the FJ80 and give it a try.

I thought the Aus ht and dft came with the A442.

The new 100 5 speed auto would be nice.

Well, since ShedGuy is a trannie , he should know.

I don't know about the valve body, but I'm confident its the A442. Spent some time talking to some folks that ShedGuy knows, a few months ago, about this and that's what I have written down on the note. No guarantees though. :-\
