The last week of July, I have about 40 Honda S2000's coming to Durango for our national event and one of the people coming has a friend coming with her from Southern Cal and he has a dirt bike that he loves to ride. It is just used off road, so no tags, can he do the trails north of Silverton? Or is there a place he can ride around Durango?

thanks in advance for any information you can give me.

Thank you, I did a search, but only found a bunch of different answers that it was ok to you need an off-road permit.
I suck when it comes to searches sometimes

Just did a second search and found the forest and sheriff websites, wonder what I did the first time?

I sent the link from above and the 2 links I found from the USFS and Sheriff dept

again Thanks, I just wasn't sure. I thought that they had to get a OHV permit
